Abstract: In this paper an improved procedure on the synthesis of isochroman-4-one is presented.Five new compounds (Ⅶ,Ⅷ,Ⅸ,Ⅹ,Ⅺ) have been prepared by alkylation and Grignard Reaction of isochroman-4-one and its derivatives.
