Abstract: The polymorphic transformation of the compound Er2Fe4/3 W2/3O7 with hexagonal pyrochlore structure has been studied by high pressure and high temperature. It is found that the compound Er22Fe4/3 W2/3O7 has a phase transition from hexagonal to triclinic structure at 4.0GPa and 1200℃.Under this synthetic condition, the products of both synthesized directly from the mixture (Ⅰ) and from those hexagonal Er2Fe4/3 W2/3O7 (Ⅰ) have the same structures ( triclinic).
