Abstract: The extraction kinetics and mechanism of palladium (Ⅱ) from chloride medium with quaternary ammonium salt(N263 ) were studied by means of PVC-membrane Pd(Ⅱ) ion selective electrode and stationary interface stirring cell,The experimental results show that the extraction process may be controlled by the following interlace reaction.where AC1,(i) and (o) repesent N263,interface and organic phase respectively. The influences of temperature, acidity, and added substance (n-octoh) in the organic phase on the extraction rate are also discussed.
