Abstract: In this paper the physico-chemical properties of Sr4Si3O8Cl4 are studied.The emission,excitation and reflection spectra of Sr4Si3O8Cl4:Eu2+ and Sr4Si3O8Cl4 :Pb2+ were investigated The influence of activator concentration on the luminescent properties is discussed.
