Size-controlled Synthesis of Silicalite-1 Nanocrystals

Abstract: With careful control of the amount of tetrapropylammonium hydroxide(TPAOH) template, nanocrystals of Silicalite-1 zeolite with different morphologies and crystal sizes(80-600 nm) were obtained by hydrothermal synthesis in the presence of isopropanol. This seems to be the first example for the size-controlled synthesis of Silicalite-1 zeolite.
