Analysis of trace organics in sediment frequently requires lengthy extraction and tedious cleanup procedures before instrumental analysis. Accelerated solvent extraction (ASE) is a fast and effective means of simultaneous extraction and cleanup applicable to the analysis of many organic parameters.
