摘要:

The importance of nucleic acid amplification in the detection of infectious disease agents derives from its ability to increase the concentration of specific target sequences to levels that are detectable by various traditional techniques. Amplifications thus allows the detection of targets that are either present at extremely low concentration or in small volumes.
