Abstract: In this paper, the color reaction of 2-(2-arsonophonylaze)-7-(2,4,6-tribromoa-rsenazo)-1.8-dihydrexy-3, 6-disulionic acid (TBA) with total amount of rare earth and lignter rare earths (La-Ho, Y) has been studied.If combined with extraction of PMBP, it can be used to determine trace rare earth in human hair.
