Abstract: Oscillopolarographic titrations are usually carried out at Hg-electrodeswith an applied potential of 0——2 volts. Such electrodes cannot be usedin redox titrations. It is also inconvenient to use them for titrations involving ions such as Ag⁺, Hg⁺⁺,Cu⁺⁺, Fe⁺⁺⁺ which are reduced at near zero potentials. The use of micro Pt-electrode can solve these problems. T.itration of As(Ⅲ) .with KBrO₃ in acidic solution gives very accurate results. Titration of Ag⁺ with I^- also gives accurate results. Neutralization and complexation in titrations can also be carried out at Ptelec-trodes.
