Abstract: The bifunctional ion exchangers were synthesized with the styrene-acrylonitrile-divinylbenzene copolymers. The effects of the concentration of sulfonic acid, the reaction temperature and the reaction time on the bifunctional ion exchangers were investigated. The use of these resins for separation of amino acids was studied.
