ZSM-5/SAPO-5 Composite Molecular Sieves Synthesized by Preloading Raw Material Method

Abstract: ZSM-5(core)/SAPO-5(shell) binary structure composite molecular sieves were synthesized by preloading raw material method. The effect of loading conditions on the formation and character of core/shell structure zeolite was investigated. These synthesized samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDS and FTIR, respectively. The  results indicate that  the pretreated condition affects the combination of   phosphorus and ZSM-5,  the crystallinity and particle morphology of composite significantly.  Compared to hydrothermal synthesis method, this approach is helpful to forming smaller SAPO-5  particles and growing SAPO-5 on ZSM-5 surface under suitable pretreated condition.
