Synthesis and Biological Activities of Imidazolo[2,1-b]-1,3,4-thiadiazole,S-Triazole[3,4-b]-1,3,4-thiadiazole Derivatives Bearing 1H-1,2,4-triazole

Abstract: Eighteen novel imidazolo-1,3,4-thiadiazoles and S-triazole-1,3,4-thiadiazoles containing 1H-1,2,4-triazole were synthesized and their structures were confirmed by elemental analyses and spectral analysis. And the characteristic data of 1H NMR and MS were explained reasonably. Furthermore, we also proposed the synthetic mechanism of 2,5,6-substituted-imidazolo-1,3,4-thiadiazole. Primary antibacterial test against E.coli, P.aeruginosa, B.subtilis and S.aureus showed that most of them had good antibacterial activities.
