Abstract: Using n [TC16PyP(4)]/ n (anthraquinone)(1:1) mixture as film-forming material, the film-forming property of TC16PyP(4)/AnQmixture on the air/water interface was studied. The structure of mixed TC16PyP(4)/AnQ LBfilms was characterized by π-Aisotherms, UV-Vis absorption spectra and low-angle X-ray diffraction(LAXD).The experimental results indicate that the TC16PyP(4)/AnQmixture can form a stable monolayer on the air/water interface. Most AnQmolecules are incorporated into the cavities between the long alkyl chains of TC16PyP(4) molecules in the mixed monolayer and LBfilms.Mixed TC16PyP(4)/AnQmonolayer can be transferred to the substrates.TC16PyP(4)/AnQ LBfilms have a good stability and periodicity

Key words: Amphiphilic porphyrin, Mixed LB films, Low-angle X-ray diffraction
