Association and Complexation of Block Copolymer Ionomers(Ⅲ)──Complexation Between SEBS-based Ionomers and Copolymers Containing Pyridine Units

Abstract: Aseries of block copolyme ionomers(BCI) have been prepared.The solution viscosity and thermal behavior of the blends of BCIand pyridine-containing polymers(MVP and SVP) have been investigated.The results show that MVP and SVPcan form complexes with the PS ionomer blocks in BCI leaeing to substantial increases of both the reduced viscosity in solution and temperture of glass transition in bulk.Ni and Cu ionomers show the largest ability of complexation.
