Abstract: Digital Image Analysis Technique(DIA) has been applied to extract various typesof physical information from an image of high-order structures in polymer systems.UsingDIA, we haye succeeded in obtaining the power spectrum of two-dimensional Fouriertransformation (2DFT) of an image in real space.By settinig up a time-resolved digital imageanalysis system, we managed to study the phase separation dynamics of poly(methylmathacrylate)/poly (vinyl acetate) via 2DFT.Even more, we made it practicable to study theelectronic microscopic picture with the help of a one-dimensional scanner. At the end of thispaper, remarks on getting rich information from DIAwere presented.
