Solubilities Measurement of the Ternary Systems LaY3-BAPHDCA-H2O(Y=NO3-, Cl-) at 30℃

Abstract: The solubilities and refractive indexes of saturated solutions of the ternarysystems LaY3-BAPHDCA--H2O (Y=NO3-, Cl-) at 30℃ were studied and the correspondingequilibrium diagrams were constructed.The solubility curves and refractive index curves ofnitrate systems consist of three branches, corresponding to BAPHDCA, La (BAPHDCA)(NO3)3· 4H2Oand La(NO3)3· 6H2O.The complex is incongruently soluble in water.Theeutectic compositions (%) are: La (NO3)3 25.25, BAPHDCA 0.91 and La (NO3)3, 60.15,BAPHDCA 0.45.The tenary complex was characterized by chemical analysis, elementaryanalysis, IRspectra,TG-DTGand X-ray power diffraction.The system of chloride is asimple one.The eutectic composition is LaCl349.12%, BAPHDCA 0.82%.
