Abstract: The spectra of resonant luminescence(RL) ,double scattering(DS) and anti-double scattering(ADS) of selenium(Ⅳ)-iodide-crystal violet system were studied. The spectral characteristics, the effect factors and optimum conditions of the reaction have been investigated. The quantitative relations of the IRL, IADSand IDSto the concentration of selenium (Ⅳ)have been investigated. The concentration of selenium is directly proportional to the IRL,IADSand IDs in the 0~3.0μg/mL.The new analytical way for determination of trace amounts of selenium by RLand ADSwas proposed. The methods have very highly sensitivities, the detection limits for selenium (Ⅳ)are 0.11 ng/mLfor RLmethod and 0.16 ng/mLfor ADSmethod, respectively.
