Abstract: Anew flavonol glycoside, named caohuoside-C(Ⅰ),was isolated from the aerial parts of Epimedium koreanum Nakai in addition to three known compounds.By means of IR,UV,FAB-MS,EI-MS,1HNMR,13CNMR and Chemical evidences, the structure of caohuoside-C was determined as 5,7,3'-trihydroxyl-4'-methoxyl-8-prenylflavonol-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside.The known compounds were identified as icariside C1(Ⅱ),epimedokoreanoside-Ⅰ(Ⅲ) and desmethylicaritin(Ⅳ).

Key words: Epimedium koreanum Nakai, Flavonoids, Caohuoside-C, Sesquiterpenic glycoside
