Dynamic Light Scattering Study on Solution Properties of Phenolphthalein Polyaryl Ether Sulfones in Good Solvent

Abstract: The solution properties of phenolphthalein polyaryl ether sulfones(PES-C)in good solvent DMFhave been studied by dynamic light scattering.The average decay rate is given by Γ=q2Dt. The results show that diffusion of PES-Cmolecule in the system fits rigid-ball model. We obtained the diffusion coefficient of PES-Cmolecule as a function of the concentration and temperature. The hydrodynamic radii for the particle in the good solvent was calculated by means of Stokes-Einstein equation.The diffusion activation energy has been obtained from Arrehnius function, and it is not associated with concentration.
