Studies on the Growth Process of PbO2 on the Lead-Antimony Electrodes

Abstract: The potential-step and impedance tracing methods were used to study the growth process of PbO2 on lead-antimony electrodes with the oxidation current of lead substrate being considered.The influence of antimony on the growth process was investigated.The growth process of PbO2 on the lead-antimony electrodes obeys the rule of two dimentional instantaneous nucleation and growth process and the antimony will retard this process.
