Studies on EIMS and MIKES of the Derivatives of 2,4-Diamino-5-(Substituted) Benzyl-Pyrimidine

Abstract: The present paper covers the electron ionization mass spectra (EIMS) and collisional activation dissociation (CAD),mass-analyzied ion kinetic energy spectra (MIKES) of eight 2,4-diamino-5-(substituted) benzyl-pyrimidine derivatives.Accurate molecular weight of the compounds were determined by means of high resolution experiments.The rules of the cleavage of ether bonds and 2,4-diamino-5-(substituted) benzyl-pyrimidine ring in the compounds were proved by the CAD MIKES technique.The fragmentations of sample 4 were studied in detail.
