Abstract: 3-Alkoxypropionyl-l,3-thiazolidine-2-thiones 2a-i were synthesized from 3-alkoxy-propionic acid and 1, 3-thiazolidine-2-thione by using cyanuric chloride as the condensing agent.Alkoxyethylphenyl ketones 3a,c-h were obtained by treatment of 2a,c-h with phenylmagnesium bromide 2a-i are new compounds.
