Studies on the Chemical Constituents of the Marine Mollusc, Siphonaria Japonia(Ⅰ)

Abstract: Four compounds,siphonarin A(1),glyerol-1-hexadecyl ether(2),cholesterol and oc-tadecylic acid,isolated from the marine pulmonate mollusc of Siphonaria japonia,were identified on the basis of the spectral data.These compounds are known but were found for the first time in the Siphonaria japonia.
