Calculation of the Distribution Function of the Radius of Gyration for Random Walk Chains

Abstract: General expressions of the moments of the distribution function of the radius of gyration for linear chains were obtained by using the random walk model.It was proved that for the long chains, the asymptotic result is the same as that of Gaussian chains.An approximation method for calculating the moments of distribution function is given and explicit expressions for the first three moments are obtained.
