Abstract: This paper reports the preparation of twelve 2-methyl-4-mercaptofuran derivatives with 2-methyl-4-thioacetyl furan as raw material. The compounds Ⅰa-e,Ⅱa,Ⅱcand Ⅱe-f, are new compounds.
