The Kinetic Study on the Copolymerization of Butadiene with Styrene Catalyzed by Co(nap)2-Al2Et3Cl3 System

Abstract: The kinetic study on the copolymerization of butadiene with styrene catalyzed by the binary system Co(nap)2-Alsub>2Etsub>3Clsub>3 was carried out. The dependence of reaction rate on the polymerization conditions, including the concentration of catalyst and monomer and the temperature of the reaction were investigated. The rate constant and the apparent activation energy were obtained.
