The Extraction Kinetics of Cobalt (Ⅱ) Thiocyanate with Primary Amine N1923 by Growing Drop Method

Abstract

Abstract: The forward initial rate of the extraction of cobalt(Ⅱ) thiocyanate with primary amine N1923 was measured by means of the growing drop method at 25 ± 1℃.The effect of the temperature on the extraction rate was also investigated. The experimental results show that the rate-determining step of the .extraction process may be the following interfacial reactions:The activation energy of the process was calculated to be 15.1 kJ·mol^-1.
