Abstract: The trace element Se in human hair was determined by ETAAS.The effect of the different matrix modifiers is discussed.The mechanism of the matrix modifier in the graphite furnace was studied by means of surface analysis of the graphite cup by X-ray photbelectron spectroscopy.
