Abstract: The formation of some unstable Cp2TiAr2 (1) was proved by means of determination of produced X- ions in the reaction process. The nitrogen-fixation activity of Iunder room temperature and normal pressure was studied. Some of 1 show good nitrogen-fixation catalysis. The mechanism of ammonia formation is discussed.
