Abstract

Abstract: The polarographic and other electroanalytical behavior of complexes of copper(Ⅱ) with 4-(2-quinolylazo )-1,3-dihydroxynaphthalene (2-QADNm) has been studied by pulse polarography,A Cimpedance measurement and cyclic voltam-metry. Using polarographic wave of Cu(2-QADNm)₂ complex at -0.79V,the trace copper down to 10^-8mol/L can be determined. Asingle-sweep polarographic procedure for determination of copper using 2-QADNm as the reagent has been worked out.
