Abstract: Two novel ligands, potassium monohydrotris(1-imidazolyl) borate and potassium dihydrobis(l-bcnzotriazoly])borate have been synthesized via the molten reactions of potassium borohydride with imidazole or benzotriazole, these have been identified by MS, 1HNMR, elemental analysis and IRspectra. Their complexes with Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ),and Zn(Ⅱ) were described.
