Abstract: The tetrabasic ion associate formed by terbium with imino diacetric acid, tiron and surfactant can been used as the basis of a spectrofluorimetric determination of terbium. The sensitivity of it was 12 times as high as that with absence of surfactant CTMAB.The influence of 10 surfactant and 7 complexones on fluorescence intensity was also studied.
