Abstract: The following new tetraphetlylphenylsilicon compounds have been synthesized by Diels-Alder reaction;(Ⅰ)bis(tetraphenylphenyl)tetramethyldisiloxane,(Ⅱ)tetraphenylphenylvinyltetramethyldisiloxane,(Ⅲ)tetraphenylphenylmethyldichloro-silane,(Ⅳ)tetraphenylphenylheptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane,(Ⅴ)tetraphenyl phenyl-methylsilanediol,(Ⅵ)trimethyltri(tetraphenylphenyl)cyclotrisiloxane,(Ⅶ)etramethyltctra(tetraphenylphenyl)cyclotetrasiloxane.Structure and composition of compounds(Ⅰ-Ⅶ)were determined by spectral analyses.
