Studies on Organomolybdenum and Tungsten Compounds (Ⅲ)——Catalytic Polymerization of Alkyne by Containing M-σ-C Bond Complexes of Molybdenum and Tnugsten

Abstract: The catalytic polymerizations of alkyne in the presence of η5-C5H5M(CO)3Rx (M = Mo,W; R = CH3, C2H5) have been studied. The results showed that these complexes possess catalytic activities for the polymerization and copolymerization of monosubstituted acetylene. Catalytic mechanisms have been preliminarily discussed. It is suggested that the active species are metal-carbenc.
