Abstract: Sixteen 2- phenyl-5-(β-styiyl)furan derivatives had been prepared by Wittig rea-ciion from corresponding substituted o-phcnylfurfutal and bcnzylphosplonium salt The structure of all products were cetermined by quantitative clementary analysis, DTA, JR, UVand. 1H NMR, The fluorescent properties were measured as well.
