Abstract: In this paper a new water soluble cobalt porphyrin coordination compound, Co·C56H60N8I4·6H2O (CoTAPPI), was prepared and characterized by UVabsorption spectra, TGand DTA, IRspectromelry, Raman spectro-metry, ESRspectrometry. Which revealed that this compound has an ability of carrying oxygen.
