Abstract: This paper deals with the determination of the electrode potential of six different concentration cadmium amalgam (Cd concentration varies from 0.00510 to 0.52775 m) in a saturated CdSO4 solution. Two reference electrodes, i.e., the Hg-Hg2SO4 electrode and 10% Cd amalgam electrode, were used during the measurement. The result of the potential measurement for each Cd amalgam electrode was agreed to be ± 2μV.
