Abstract: In this paper, the author proposed a new method of molecule probe for studying the numbers and distribution of the metal ion (or oxygen vacancy) on oxide catalyst surface by pulse chromatography technique, and applied it to the investigation of some V₂O₅, V₂O₅-P₂O₅ catalysts with different constituents or prepared by different methods.
