Abstract: We have investigated the tranformation of NaAto NaHS (sodalite) type zeolite from an initial gel of batch composition 3Na2O·Al3O2·2SiO2·60H2O at 100℃. In order to explain the mechanism of this process, we proved the formation of nuclei of NaAand NaHStype zeolite in liquid phase by electron diffraction technique, and we used the electron micrograph, X-ray diffraction, TMS - GC and other methods to investigate comprehensively the changes of partical size and morphology of zeolite, the existing species and their distribution of lower silicate anions in liquid and solid phase in the course of transformation of NaAto NaHS. Aliquid phase transportation mechanism of transformation was suggested.
