Abstract: The synthesis and catalysis of epoxidaton for olefin of a-and β-K₆H₄[SiW₉O₃₇ Mn₃·(H₂O)₃]·xH₂O are reported.The heteropolyacid salts have an ability to catalyze the epoxidation of olefin by PhIO,and the catalytic activity of them is probably related to the fact that the substituted Mn(II)can be oxidized to a higher oxidation state and the compound with a higher oxidation state has an oxidation property.
