摘要： The synthesis of 2-(4-hydroxyphenoxy) propionic acid, useful as an important intermediate for herbicides, had been reported[1-3]. In this paper, The synthesis of 2-(4-hydroxyphenoxy)propionic acid had been studied by the reacting hydroquinone with cheap 2-chloropropionic acid in the presence of base.
