Abstract: The isolation and identification of five flavonoids of Elsholtzia ciliata Hyland, a Chinese herb medicine, are reported.The structure of compound V, a new compound, is elucidated by means of spectral as well as chemical methods as 5-hydroxy-6-methylflavanone-7-O-α-D-galactopyanoside.
