Studies on the Synthesis of Phosphonodipeptides and Their Herbicidal Activities (Ⅳ)

Abstract

Abstract: In order to look for a new herbicide, a series of novel phosphonodipeptides have been prepared by the reaction of (PhO)₂P(O)CHRNH₂ with C₁CH₂CONHCHR'COOR₂ in the presence of tri-ethylamine in benzene.The structures of all the compounds prepared were proved by ¹H NMR, IRand MSand some of them by elementary analysis.The preliminary biological tests indicated that some of them showed a highly selective herbicidal activity.
