Abstract: Six compounds were isolated from the roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch and their structures were identified by chemical and spectroscopic methods. Three of them are new:6″-O-acetylliquiritin(Ⅰ),3β-formylglabrolide(Ⅱ), 22β-acetylglabric acid(Ⅲ); the others are known compounds:2,3-dihydroisoliquiritigenin(Ⅳ),3-oxo-glycyrrhetic acid (Ⅴ),3-acetylglycyrrhetic acid(Ⅵ)which are obtained from the plant firstly.

Key words: Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch, 6″-O-Acetylliquiritin, 3β-Formylglabrolide, 22β-Acetylglabric acid
