Abstract: Twelve pairs of optically active silatranes ( Ⅱ ) were prepared by cyclization of alkyltrielhoxysilane with Dor L N,N-dihydroxyethyl-2-amino-butanol- 1 in the presence of alkaline hydroxide as catalyst.
