Abstract: In this paper the d radial function in ligand field has been expressed by adding the free-state d radial function with a empirical function. By using this model several crystalline electronic spectra of Cu²⁺ in environments of Cl^- have been calculated and the results obtained are in good agreement with the experimental data.
