Study on Synthesis of 3-Methoxymethylenetetrahydrothiophene and Its Reactivity

Abstract: A new compound 3-methoxymethylenetetrahydrothiophene (Ⅰ) has been prepared and the reactivity of the α-H of (Ⅰ) was studied. Anew possibility is given for the synthesis of aromatic substance "Kahweo-furan"(Ⅱ).
