Abstract: 6,6-Dialkylfulvene reacts with allyl Grignard reagents to give addition products 1,1-dialkyl-3-butenylcyclopentadienyl magnesium chloride or bromide .When phenylacetylenic sodium is used instead of the Grignard reagent, the substituted fulvene forms substituted vinylcydopentadienyl sodium through a double bond shift. These substituted cyclopentadienyl anions react with metal chlorides of Ⅳ Bgroup to form a series of novel substituted metallocenes.

Key words: 6,6-Dialkylfulvene, Allyl Grignard reagents, Phenylacetylenic Sodi-um, Alkenylcyclopentadienyl Ⅳ B group metal derivatives
