Studies on the Evaporation and Excitation Behaviour of Rare Earth Elements in Ar-N2/D.C.ARC Discharge

Abstract: In this paper the investigation of the influence of the discharge medium (Ar-N2, Ar-O2) and their ratio on the line intensities of rare earth elements, spectral background, the evaporation rate of rare earths, the evaporation rate of sample, and excitation temperature was carried out by experimental method; The adequate conclusions are presented.
