Abstract: The effects of several neutral N-containing and P-containing ligands on the formation of Mo-Fe-Scubane-type clusters in MoS42--nFeCl2-DMF systems have been studied from the changes in electronic absorption-spectral characteristics and the probable mechanism was discussed.
